In one corner of the vibrant spring, a sense of 'loss' coexists. The feeling of loss is unmistakable, yet why is it so difficult to precisely explain what has been lost? A loss without a clear object—such a thing is truly ambiguous and peculiar. Through the concrete image of a 'discarded tree,' I sought to capture something beyond it. In the midst of this, I finally found the perfect spot. The reflections of shadows on the water, scattered fragments of something unknown—instinctively, I picked up my camera and took a picture, completing my sense of loss.
