This is a series of close up candid flash based photos taken around Tokyo. Bikkuri Shita translates to I am surprised and is a phrase that I often hear after taking a candid close photo of a stranger in the street. I use a wide angle lens and slow shutter to try and give the viewer a sense of how it feels to be in the chaotic Tokyo streets at night time, which are a buzz with people, noises and chaos.
