This is one street photographer's take on a NY Fashion Week event. I shot all of these on W. 42nd Street, outside an event held at the main branch of the NY Public Library in 2023. I'm certainly not a dedicated follower of fashion so the actual runway event inside would have held little interest to me. Out on the sidewalk, I tried to capture the spontaneous and candid interactions between models, press and fans. Moments on the periphery.
